Crystal Herbalism  – Full Moon in Taurus

This cosmic energy is sensual, grounded, and emotionally clearing. Embodying in the element earth, this moon nourishes our roots, reconnecting us to our desires. Flow with this lunar tide by meditating, warming the body with yoga, and spending some time in nature.

Full Moon Bath Ritual

  • 2 drops lavender oil
  • 2 drops rose oil
  • 1 rose quartz
  • 1 aquamarine
  • 1 moonstone
  • white candle

Smudge the space as the water begins to collect, place the crystals in the tub and allow their energy to charge the water. Add the oils, pouring your intentions into the water with every drop. Light the candle and place it next to the tub, allowing the flames light to cascade over your body. When the water is ready, take a step into the tub, whispering your full moon intentions as you submerge yourself in its calming warmth.

Play relaxing sounds while you are in the tub, meditating and asking goddess to send you any messages as you soak. Once you are done with the bath, journal what came up for you. Blow out the candle as you thank the divine for their guidance.

Goodness, it’s been a long time since I did a spell under the full moon like I did last night! I’m more of a morning lark, so I have difficulties staying up late enough for the moon to get above the forest trees where I live. But I managed it last night, and it felt incredible!

The full moon last night was in Sagittarius, as was Saturn. So, I tried to channel some adventurous, driven Fire energy (considering it was Tuesday as well), in addition to the deeper, flowing energies of the moon and the more concentrated, task-oriented energies of Saturn. To do this, I used my obsidian arrowhead to help channel energy into my red jasper and into myself.

It was totally wild! I could feel the red jasper heating up as I held it up to the moon, the warmth radiating onto my fingers. Energy was swirling around and through my body, too! And today, I’ve felt a lot more driven overall, and haven’t had to rely as much on certain crutches like sugar!

It’s going to be a full moon tonight, so I’m going to try to tap into the divine feminine! I’ve been working on opening my Third Eye some as well, so tonight, I’ll try to make progress with that, too. I want to introduce more Yin energy into my life, to be able to calm down and take things more slowly, to get more in touch with the subtle things. I have high hopes!

Crystal Herbalism – Dreamy Faerie Queen

She dances under the moon, her crown of stars scattering crystallized light onto the forest floor. She whispers enchantments into the breeze, listening to the branches sway and the sleepy river flow. Comforted by the velvet darkness, the queen becomes just a dreamer alone in the woods with her poetic thoughts.

Bring her cosmic energy into your home with a starry night apophyllite.

Crystal Herbalism – Venus Retrograde

Hues of pastel pink illuminate the soul as Venus enters
retrograde. This feminine energy sparks a wildness with us, a vibrant
expression of compassion.
The last time this feminine planet retrograded was
last spring and this new cycle will last till November 16th

This
cosmic transition welcomes reflection within the heart space, giving us the
time to review our relationships, including the intimate one with yourself. She blankets us in rosy starlight,
asking us “Are You Happy?”

Venus is the goddess of love, beauty, fertility, and abundance,
she is the Roman version of the Greek goddess Aphrodite. Her planet is going to
get closer to the horizon and like Persephone, she then disappears into the underworld.
It is during this time of astrological darkness that we will be pushed to acknowledge
unresolved issues. Venus will also be ruling both the new moon and the full moon
this cycle, bringing self-worth into the spotlight.

Crystal: During this retrograde have rose quartz become your companion. This crystal will be the light you need as you wade though moments of darkness in your reflections. Rose quartz is a goddess stone providing you with protection, divine wisdom, and loving nourishment.

Essential Oils to work with: Rose, Geranium, and Plumeria. These floral scents will activate your heart chakra.

Retrograde Mantra: My Greatest Strength Is Love.

Venus Retrograde Journal Prompts: SELF-WORTH

  • What is your hearts true desire?
  • How can you improve your self-care practice?
  • How would you define self-worth?
  • What are you worthy of?
  • In what ways can you love yourself more?
