I am a WITCH 🌕

I do not say that for an aesthetic, trend, or because it’s autumn, no, I say it with a heavy pride. When I call myself a WITCH I bow my head to my ancestors, the people killed who proclaimed it or we rumored to. I honor the WITCHES who came before me because I am the granddaughter of one you could not burn.

Crystal Herbalism Heart Chakra Bath

A bath is an oracle, as we soak in the sacred waters emotions, thoughts, and visions rise to the surface.

Like a poetic spell, we become bewitched in the comfort of the water. Blanketed in the fluid element that makes up so much of our body. Taking a bath is a spiritual practice, a ritual where you can tap into your energy. From placing crystals in the water to alter the vibration to creating an elixir of essential oils to drop in. to honor the temple of your being, you can create an alter within the space, lighting candles that connect to your soulful presence.

Every Sunday I take a heart chakra bath. I love to use crystals and oils that activate and expand my heart space, healing and strengthening me for the week ahead. Whether you’re an empath, witch, or yogi, it’s important to care for your spiritual self. To release any energy that you’ve picked up during the week. A bath is an energetic and mental detox, creating a space for you to reconnect and realign.

Honor your divinity by soaking int he oracle waters, find peace in knowing that you can create your own sanctuary.

The heart chakra is the center to your being the pathway between your lower and upper chakras: Root, Sacral, Solar, HEART, Throat, Third Eye, Crown. By cleansing your heart, you are able to find more emotional balance and clarity. I like to think of the heart as the place where the soul resides. When someone asks for you, you tend to point towards the center of your chest in response, “Who Me?”

There is a Japanese art called Kintsugi, where broken objects are put back together using lacquer mixed with powdered gold. This practice of golden rejoining brings beauty to imperfection, the pieces are alchemized into a flourishing masterpiece.

It has taken years to find the beauty in my past, but now that I see the golden light within my shadow, I am able to feel whole. During my journey I have sounds sanctuary in the loving energy of Rose Quartz. It has been a compassionate and empowering vibration, a divine beacon.

What would happen if you listened to your body, every moment of everyday?

This is an important question to ask yourself, especially with the new year arriving. It’s not to say that you don’t already listen to your body but rather bringing an awareness to the fact that you can deepen your practice.

Our bodies are constantly shifting and evolving with each action we take and thought we create. Our emotions tend to be the driving force on how our bodies react to situations, entailing waves of ups, downs, and moments of calm. Like an ocean we ebb and flow, keeping track of any storms brewing within.

Listening to the body is an intuitive practice, and act of self-awareness. There is a magick to knowing when to tend to your self, an ancient vibe of nurturing. It’ our sixth sense, something that gives us a light to dive inward.

There is a beauty in knowing your body, an art of true honest devotion. When we think of our bodies as our home, temple, and sacred ground, we find ourselves pausing, kneeling to pray and listen. It is with that divine notion, that we awaken, we become rooted in the fluidity of what our body needs.

Listening to the body can be described as either spiritual or primal, but at the end of the day its always individual.

With the growth that we are constantly manifesting, there is rest that must follow. And with that acknowledgment we grasp to the needed selfishness. Courage is the core to self-care, it take a strong person to have a heart-to-heart with themselves. Because when you take the time to observe your emotions you obtain the truth.
